The Newborn Hat pattern designed is by Michelle Hunter of KnitPurlHunter.  This pattern is written to use the Magic Loop method.  Great for all sock yarns, but use our very own Shepherd Scarlet and Gray sock yarn, exclusive to Knitting Temptations, to make the perfect first hat for Buckeye Babies! Knit this hat with US 1 or US 2 (2.5-3 mm), 32" circular needle -- use the smaller for newborns; the larger for babies up to 9 months.
